I go in and out of fandoms all the time, so I can't promise this lj will be updated often, or with any real content; I once went an entire year without updating. Wow, I haven't posted in a long, long time. I'm still alive! Part of my radio silence has been due to posting on Twitter all the time, part of it because of my fannish cycle*, and another part is RL-related stress.**

* The way I behave fannishly is first I read everything, write everything, post everything, then I fall into a less intense behaviour pattern as I become more crticial of fic, and then I fail to read lj for years until my next fandom. sdfhfhdfh

** To make a very long story short, I moved to the US for a few months. Now I'm back in the UK, but my work environment is incredibly toxic and most of my time has been spent trying to survive + look for a new job that won't destroy my soul.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to get back into the pattern of writing fic again. I have this sequel to my Inception Big Bang I started back in, uh, February, but I sort... forgot where I was going with it? And I can't seem to get the momentum back. :/ So I've started another fic instead, one where they are all definitely criminals with shady morals, and not... hippies or graduate students. Inception fandom 4evs. But I feel I should post this anyway because I know quite a few people were asking for it back when I first posted my IBB.

So like I said, this is unfinished and extremely unpolished. I don't write in a linear fashion, so this has huge gaps in it. Particularly of the parts where Arthur actually meets Eames' family. sdfhsdfhsdfh

This was supposed to be a story where Eames goes back to visit his fam and discovers he's become super ~normal~ and then realises he's okay with that, and meanwhile Arthur LOVES the Eames family life.

This story would not exist without cis, who came up with all of the architecture jokes including Cobb's book titles and the title of this story, Eames' backstory, and the general plot during a night where we had too little food and too much wine and I was desperate to talk about anything but my thesis.

Omg wldnst wrote a dream_holiday fic for me called jonquil in december wherein Arthur and Eames are forced to tell the story of how they met, and it's hilarious and sexy and sweet, and it has a loltastic TWIST I didn't see coming. Basically everyone should read it. Inception, Arthur/Eames, R, 11,800 words.

My Twitter is usually locked because I post mostly irl stuff, but I'm going to do an experiment where I keep it unlocked for a while and see how it goes. This is because I feel really guilty for never updating lj, and people, FOR SOME REASON, keep friending me.

But I seem to have done this thing where I stupidly blocked all the people I didn't follow back, and now I'm public and still can't see them. Apparently the only thing I can do to change this is unblock people one by one.
